20080109_0935-2FUSION – “Friends United to Shelter the Indigent, Oppressed, and Needy”, which started in 1993, is an all-volunteer nonprofit.  The Board of Directors chose to open an upscale, resale Boutique in April 2014 to raise additional revenue to support its transitional housing program for homeless families. With a strong desire to serve the ever-growing population of homeless families, the FUSION Board of Directors realized that in order to grow and provide more housing, the organization would need to create a fundraising mechanism that was unique for Federal Way. The Boutique not only provides a unique shopping experience, but also engages new volunteers, and creates visual awareness for the FUSION mission in the community it serves. We welcome and encourage the support of our donors, shoppers, and volunteers in our new endeavor as a nonprofit.  Thank you for helping us to make a difference and impact the lives of the families we serve.

With appreciation,

Peggy LaPorte
