FUSION Adds 20th Home in Service of Homeless Families
For more than 25 years FUSION has been helping families experiencing homelessness find shelter, one family at a time. The organization has grown by steadily acquiring new housing units. These homes provide a safe and secure environment for homeless children and their parents.
Today the organization reached a milestone with the purchase of its 20th home. With this new property FUSION will operate 20 move-in ready transitional housing units in Federal Way and Northeast Tacoma.
"The need for homeless services in our community continues to grow," according to Robin O'Grady, FUSION Executive Director, "and with this new home we can provide shelter for an additional family." Grants, fantastic volunteers and FUSION supporters all make this possible, she adds.
