FEDERAL WAY--FUSION today announced the purchase and renovation of the Federal Way, Econo Lodge for a new family-based emergency shelter.  Over the years, FUSION has assisted hundreds of families experiencing homelessness. With adequate housing and social support, families' lives improve.

The FUSION Family Center will provide 406 beds supporting 116 families annually with 90 days of housing. FUSION will leverage innovative programming to help families residing at the center.

These programs will provide, triage, counseling, stability planning and employment development.

"When I think of the families and individuals of which; more than 250 will be children that will be served; I am prouder than ever to be a part of FUSION,'' said Robin O'Grady FUSION Executive Director.

Although the project is in the renovation phase, the center is estimated to open mid 2020. FUSION currently owns and manages 20 residential units in Federal Way and Northeast Tacoma. FUSION also has a retail operation called the FUSION Boutique.
