FUSION Boutique Volunteers Boost Sales Supporting Homeless Families

FUSION is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization with a mission of providing housing and support services to homeless families. in Federal Way and Tacoma. In 2014, The Board of Directors chose to open the upscale, resale FUSION Decor Boutique to raise additional revenue to support its transitional housing program for homeless families.

The retail outlet has been a great success. Since its opening the store continues to exceed sales expectations. “The Boutique is a success because of the combined hard work of all involved in the keeping the Boutique running.” said Kristen Jacka, Decor Boutique Manager. The retail outlet not only provides a unique shopping experience, but also engages new volunteers, and creates visual awareness for the FUSION mission in the community it serves. You can play a role in reducing homelessness in your community. If you are interested in volunteering at FUSION Décor Boutique, please call 253-839-4045, the FUSION website, or visit the store and pick up a volunteer registration form. With the help of our supportive community FUSION’s grant-winning housing and family centered focus has continued to evolve even as the rate of homeless continues to rise in Washington State. ###
