Muckleshoot Tribe Awards $5000 For FUSION Families

The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, has long understood the importance of being proactive in meeting the needs of the community.

This year the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe awarded FUSION $5000 from the Muckleshoot Charity Fund.

The grant donation will be used to help families move to permanent housing using Finally Home funds.

The FUSION Finally Home program was created to help FUSION families with their first month’s rent, deposits, fees, deposits, and moving expenses.

“We are so fortunate to have community partners like the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe,”  said Robin O’Grady, FUSION Executive Director. Finally Home funds help bridge the gap for FUSION families who are gainfully employed.  Most of these families are ready to move into permanent housing but do not have the initial resources to secure and move into permanent housing.

The FUSION mission is to provide housing and support services to families experiencing homelessness in our community so they will have a safe, secure environment as they work toward self-sufficiency.
